a strong acquisition capability. In fact, we are actively engaging with a large pipeline of acquisition candidates who share our vision. The team brings a solid track record of success, having created five companies in
this manner, resulting in three IPO's and two mergers.The founders: Theodore F. Savastano, Mr. Savastano previously built three companies: Hunter Environmental (revenues $110.0 million/ IPO in Dec '86), Summit
Environmental Group (revenues $85.0 million/ merged with Earth Technology in May '94), and Waterlink Inc. (revenues $180.0 million/ IPO in June 97). Brantley Partners, is a private equity organization with
offices in Ohio and California. Brantley and its affiliates have approximately $400 million of committed capital under management. Brantley's limited partners are primarily institutional investors including pension
funds, insurance companies and banks. Since the firm's inception in 1987, it has been a lead investor in over 45 privately held companies in a variety of manufacturing, technology and service industries throughout the
United States. Its professionals have extensive experience in identifying, evaluating, selecting, negotiating and closing investments in privately held companies. Since its inception, Brantley has established a
significant track record in successfully building businesses. The advisory board: Glenn McGonnigle, the former Chairman and CEO of VistaScape Security Systems, a leading provider of enterprise intelligent
video surveillance software. Mr. McGonnigle was recruited by the company's investors in 2002 to growth the business leading to its successful sale to Siemens in 2006. A national authority on security convergence and a
frequent contributor and expert speaker for numerous industry publications and events, Mr. McGonnigle helped shape President Bush's 2005 National Strategy for Maritime Security. Previously, Mr. McGonnigle was a
co-founder and senior executive of Atlanta-based Internet Security Systems (IPO in 1998, acquired by IBM for $1.3 billion) where, for 7 years, he led the business development team in developing sales channels and
entering the managed security services market. Steve Hunt, the president of 4A International, a research and business development firm focused on building solutions in IT, homeland and physical security.
From 1998 to 2005, Mr. Hunt led the security research teams of Forrester Research and Giga Information Group. Before joining Giga, he served as technical director Memco Software's 20 worldwide channels and resellers.
Previously, Steve worked as a consultant to Chicago's financial community. Throughout the 1980s, he implemented and designed security for facilities, including physical access control systems, disaster recovery, alarms,
and surveillance. He has been a frequent contributor to CNBC, Fox News, CNN, and other news networks . |
